Based on an idea from the Stamford University Medical School Forgiveness Project, this sermon by Dr. Giles, our Community Minister, focuses on a mistaken way of thinking that often makes people miserable – trying to enforce unenforceable rules about other people. But once you get the hang of it, you can deliver yourself from this problem by simply flipping a mental switch.

Young people begin in the Sanctuary with their family and will be sung out to their Religious Exploration classes. The service will include special music from the Countryside Band (Sarah Bloethe, duRee Bryant, Mark Braun, Tom Dempsey, Cortney Ivanov, Ed Monson, Jeff Phillips, Elizabeth Van Orden).
