Christmas Eve Service: Mary and Joseph Remember

Join us in person or online for our annual Christmas Eve candlelight service. Our Christmas Eve Offering is for the Minister’s Discretionary Fund, used to help those in need in the congregation. Unitarian Universalists have different beliefs about Jesus. We will consider scriptures written fifty years after Jesus died. We will imagine what that night must have been like for two parents as they help us think both of that time in history, what it is like to give birth to a prophet, as well as the concerns all new parents face. We too will consider the troubles of the time and the struggle of the Jewish people to gives us an image of the universality of the story and how it relates to the world we live in now.

To join us online, go to If joining online, you can download the Order of Worship here and you will want to have a candle or candles available for the end of the service.
