Humans have been fascinated by the turning of the seasons for eons. Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall, in all the cooler climates offer a way to measure our progress – or lack thereof. As we bid farewell to summer and look forward to shorter days, we take comfort from beautiful music by Vivaldi in honor of the 300th anniversary of the publication of The Four Seasons. The first of four services based on Vivaldi’s work, we look for the inspiration autumn brings.
