Overview
Welcome to Countryside Church! We offer a combination of long-term, cost-share rentals as well as short term and one-time use rentals. Whether you’re looking for a facility to host a commitment ceremony, wedding, or family party, Countryside Church is a beautiful place that will complement your special event. If you are searching for a new home for your school or day care business, we offer longer-term rentals with special rates based on overall requirements. Photos of the grounds and facility, along with a rate card and Building Use Policies, are available to you to help you research the use of our facility.
Inside the Facility
Our main sanctuary seats 260 people, and our social hall, Atherton Hall, seats 230-250 people. A full kitchen is accessible from Atherton Hall and the Sanctuary. We also have a conference room as well as multiple single and double-sized classrooms with flexible configurations of tables and chairs. For a more relaxed setting, we have meeting rooms equipped with couches. There are restrooms with changing tables and drinking fountains. The entire facility and grounds are handicapped accessible.
Parking
Parking availability and access to the church are very good, with ample parking in both the church parking lot (75 spaces) and the Palatine Park District parking lot, which is adjacent to and connected to the church (over 125 spaces). Handicapped parking spaces are located in the church lot.
Public Transportation
The Metra Train station is located 1.1 miles due south on Smith Rd. providing access to the Union Pacific Northwest Line which runs from downtown Chicago to Harvard, IL. See the Metra Rail System Map for details.
Optional Services
Aside from the physical facility, Countryside Church offers a number of optional resources that are available for rental: 2 pianos (including a Steinway Grand Piano ), mobile television and VCR setups, a professional sound system with recording capability, as well as tables and chairs. We can also provide or refer you to ministers, musicians, or catering services, if you like.

The south side of the grounds is a lovely place to conduct an outdoor ceremony, memorial service, or performance.
