Co-Ministry at CCUU in 2025-26
For our 2025-26 church year, which begins July 1, CCUU will be served by two co-ministers – Rev. Pam Rumancik and Rev. Karen Mooney. Each will facilitate specific ministries in the church, while working together to support the vision and mission of the church. Rev Pam will serve ¾-time, preaching most Sundays, continuing to manage our staff, and staying active in Pastoral Care, Stewardship, and Service Ministry (which includes Social Justice Matters, Green Sanctuary, and Living the Welcoming Congregation programs). Rev Karen will facilitate our Study Ministry, which includes leading our children’s Religious Exploration and supporting our Adult Faith Development program, and she will also begin facilitating Kinship Ministry, getting involved with teams such as our Membership Committee. This will bring Rev Karen’s hours up to ¾-time in total.
There will be occasional overlaps in their work, but each of our ministers will offer a unique skillset and perspective, allowing full coverage for all church ministerial needs. Pam and Karen appreciate the opportunity to create space for new ideas, energy and replenishment in this challenging societal moment.
