It’s Budget Planning Season & We Need YOUR Ideas
Our Stewardship campaign is coming to a close. Thankyou! Your generous gifts make everything we do possible – keeping our lights on, our choir singing, our minister preaching, our children learning, and our coffee brewing. Thanks to your pledges, we’ve come close to our goal of $550,000—but we’re not quite there. We are deeply grateful for the generosity of our community – but we have aspirations we cannot fully fund.
Our Board, our finance team, and our minister (and our staff) are exploring creative ways to close the gap. But ultimately, we -as a congregation – must decide what’s most important as we plan for next year. We want your input! What matters most to you? How should we prioritize? What ideas do you have for moving forward?
Mark Your Calendars! Join us for a brainstorming session on March 30, immediately after service in Atherton Hall. We’ll share some possibilities, and you’ll have the chance to join in facilitated small group conversations to share your thoughts and ideas. We’ll have snacks!
Thank you for reflecting on this, and thank you, in advance, for sharing your thoughts. Your voices will help steer CCUU toward a future that best serves our congregation and community.
If you cannot attend the March 30 meeting, please send me an email with your ideas at prez@ccuu.org.
With gratitude for the gifts you share – your time, talent and treasure ~
Lisa Gilley, Board President
