    But We Have a Request.

As you are aware, CCUU does not have a teaching staff. So, in order to meet your needs and to provide the classes and experiences you want and need, we need you to step forward and volunteer to be facilitators for these classes.

The curricula we are using from Faith Forward and UUA Tapestry are detailed and include facilitator guidelines, videos, handouts, evaluations, power point presentations, lecture, and a great deal of small group discussions which are so very important with respect to creating relationships and community.

Below is a list of the classes we are thinking about for this fall. Please help us to make them possible by volunteering to be a facilitator. Ideally, it would be helpful to have co-facilitators for each class.

A BIG thank you to those who responded to the Adult Faith Development (AFD) survey! Your feedback was incredible and your personal comments very helpful.  These results will help in creating a meaningful program at Countryside for our adult and high school congregants.

We have subscribed to Faith Forward, which provides curriculum for many of the topics you find important. We also have access to the UUA Tapestry of Faith Curricula and of course, to the ideas from our own congregants who are interested in providing resources.

There was a great deal of curiosity with respect to Spiritual Growth/Practices; Theologies; Biblical History for UU; Elder Spirituality was also of high interest. There was also significant interest in anti-racism/oppression issues and Spiritual Ecology and Pastoral Skills. UU History and Elevator Speech were also of great interest. Evening Zoom and after worship classes were popular.

As a result, we are beginning to create a class schedule for next church year.
