CommUNITY: Senior High Youth Service

When: 2/26/2017 at 9:00 am and 11:00 am| Worship Leader: Senior High Youth Group
Please join us as our high school youth group leads us in worship.
Young people in Kindergarten and above attend the worship service with their families; nursery care for infants and class for toddlers (Chalice Children) will be available at both services.
Share the Plate: Half of the cash collected in the offering will be donated to Northwest Cook County Sierra Club, a local group of the Illinois Chapter of the Sierra Club. The Sierra Club is America’s oldest, largest, and most influential grassroots environmental organization. There are approximately 1,500 members in the northwest suburbs of Cook County. It is an all-volunteer group of caring people who enjoy getting outdoors, learning about how to care for our fragile world, and influencing behavior change through our own actions, effective communication, and advancing positive environmental policies and practices.

Risky Truth

Young people in Kindergarten through Grade 7 attend the beginning of the service with their families; all other young people begin in their classrooms. Classes for infants through grade 6 are offered at 9:00, for infants through senior high at 11:00.

Power and Privilege

Young people in kindergarten through grade 7 attend the beginning of the worship service with their families; all other young people begin in their classrooms.
Share the Plate: Half of the cash collected in the offering will be donated to Lawndale Christian Legal Center, a non-profit community-based organization founded in 2010 in Chicago’s North Lawndale neighborhood. They walk youth through and away from the criminal justice system to become good citizens and leaders of the community. They offer zealous and competent criminal defense legal services, compassionate social health services, and faithful loving mentors who walk with local youth on their life’s path. They serve youth involved with the criminal justice system, age 24 and younger, in North Lawndale.
